Here is a small excerpt from my article.

“Once we have understood what is no longer serving us, we are ready to grieve and thank it. The past can be anything from a city or a relationship, to a job or a habit. Before we say goodbye, we want to acknowledge the loss of these relationships and thank them for what they gave us.”

Interview MysticMag Healing Generational Trauma with Patty Montoya

I initially started with energy healing by learning about my own trauma. I started learning about generational trauma in general and my family’s generational trauma. When I realized that most of my trauma did not start with myself, I started looking for ways to heal. Learning about energy healing modalities like Reiki, mediumship healing, Body and Emotion Code, and other modalities has been the beginning of a beautiful ancestral healing process. All of these systems help release trauma, including generational trauma and bring forth ancestral healing.

Guest Blogger: Anticipatory grief: Giving a name to the feeling

The Conversation Project

“After losing my brother and my mom to cancer, I went on a quest to understand a feeling that I could not name. I was confused about how I could already feel despair when the people I love were still with me. For me, anticipatory grief is that feeling when I know something horrible is going to happen; I just don’t know how to explain it, because it yet has not happened. Anticipatory grief also encompasses those feelings of not being understood, because I was not directly affected by illness. Over the years I’ve learned about this challenging feeling and how to cope with it.”

Heavy Energy Out, Positive Energy In: Expert Tips on How to Cleanse an Apartment and Create a Peaceful Space

I was quoted in this beautiful article regarding cleaning your home.

One of my favorite ways to cleanse an apartment is by giving away, throwing, or removing anything that no longer brings me peace. We spend so much time saging our rooms, buying the most beautiful crystals, and lighting candles. But, if we keep a sweater from an ex-partner that reminds us of a problematic relationship, it’s as if we’re inviting these negative energies to live rent-free in our home. Remember that we can manipulate energy, so by deciding to keep these objects, you are telling these energies you want to keep them in your life. Letting go of physical items is the beginning of clearing away negative energy. –Titipoza
